BRADFORD’S GO-TO PRESETS FOR LINE 6, FRACTAL, AND QUAD CORTEX
These are Bradford’s go-to presets for digital modeling devices. They feature amp Clones, Captures, and tone match IR’s of Bradford’s favorite stereo amp combo – the ’94 Matchless C-30 and his Benson Chimera. Both of these amps sound phenomenal on their own, but together in stereo they are magic. Bradford has also re-created his pedalboard in digital form.
LINE 6 STADIUM (PROXY)
For Stadium and Stadium XL, we’ve cloned the amps using Proxy. The Stadium downloads include both presets and Proxy amp+cab clones (as well as a distortion clone). Includes four (4) presets and five (5) amp clones, giving you options for which amps you’d like to pair as well as different gain staging (clean vs edge of breakup)
The Stadium presets include a set designed for live use, and a 2nd set of ‘Ambi’ presets designed for more textural and experimental sounds.
TONE MATCH (Gen 2) PATCHES (Applies to Line 6 and Fractal presets only)
These are part of our ‘Tone Match’ line of patches. To create these patches, we make custom IR’s that ‘match’ the HX and Fractal amp models to our real-world amp. The result is the Line 6 and Fractal units sound almost exactly like our actual amplifiers.
The ‘Gen2’ indicates a new process we’ve used when Tone Matching our amplifiers that takes more of the amplifier’s cab and speaker into account, resulting in a more accurate tone match impulse response.

QUAD CORTEX
ALL-IN-ONE PRESETS
This preset features captures of our ’94 Matchless C-30 and Benson Chimera in a stereo configuration, as well as captures of Bradford’s favorite overdrive – the Browne Protein. The effects are dialed in to replicate Bradford’s pedalboard. Amp captures are v1.
NOTE: This package includes all the captures in the presets themselves, but does not include additional amp captures. Those are available in the C-30 and Chimera packs.
HOW DO YOU GET THE PRESETS?
When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).
This is how we will send you the captures:
- Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (SignalTheory) will follow you on the app.
- Follow ‘SignalTheory’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
- After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
- Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.

Really good new version of the original! The proxy amps have a better feel. Plus, I highly recommend getting the proxy packs. You can swap out different Proxy amps and dial in different sounds. Highly recommend getting them all. Great product!

Sometimes, with a pairing of different amps, one side seems to dominate the tone, even if the volumes are the same. The 94 Matchless C-30 + Benson Chimera captures in this patch complement each other so well and are dialed in perfectly together. I love the variety of effects, and everything sounds great as snapshots or in stomp mode. AND the included Aspen overdrive clone alone makes this preset worth buying. It sounds so good! The second ambient preset is inspiring. This one is an incredible value, y’all.

I have purchased most of the Signal Theory presets and Clones and even though I love them all, THIS one is particularly incredible. With minimal tweaking and editing, I managed to get a great sounding tone right out the gate, which I was able to use on Sunday morning for worship. I’m usually not a big fan of wet fx going into the front of the amp, but this one from Bradford has been dialed in quite nicely, especially the Ambi-Lead snapshot – it provides some high gain overdrive that sounds great, but doesn’t hurt people’s ears or even make them notice that I’m playing in church with distortion. All the presets and fx sit great in a mix! Awesome Job!

Man this just sounds incredible. Perfectly dialed in preset. The combination of the two amps is just amazing. I doubt Bradford had this in mind but I can tell you this preset is just perfect to recreate a highly convincing Noel Gallagher overdriven sound! Which is something I had been struggling to recreate by combining vox and marshall for example but somewhat surprisingly this just nailed it. My personal tip as an HX user: push both amps drive controls (matchless and Park) instead of using drive pedals and you’ll get the juiciest of distortions.

This is the first patch I got after upgrading from a pod go to a stomp. It pairs my two favorite amps and has really blown me away. I only had to pick and choose which effects to use due to dsp limitations and didn’t have to dial in anything.
