This pack includes captures of an Ibanez TS10

The TS10 was Ibanez’ third iteration of the iconic Tube Screamer circuit that almost fell to the wayside were it not for John Mayer bringing the pedal back into fashion. This circuit is the most ‘transparent’ between the TS808 and TS9 and has less of a mid-focus, and it is punchier in the low-end than its predecessors. This makes it a great option for those who don’t particularly love the traditional TS circuit. Ours also has the desired magic chip – the JRC4558D. Between Mayer’s resurgence and the famous chip, these pedals fetch a high price on the used market. Get ours in the digital form for a fraction of the going rate!

Captures Naming Guide:

• Numbers indicate the level of gain. Lower numbers = lower gain, and higher numbers = higher gain. NOTE: a ‘1’ capture on a low-gain pedal will have inherently lower gain than a ‘1’ capture on a high gain pedal.
• B = Bright (the EQ on the pedal has been set to sound brighter – in these settings the ‘bass cut’ switch is turned on)
• W = Warm (the EQ on the pedal has been set to sound warmer – in these settings the ‘bass cut’ switch is turn off)
• Boost = Gain all the way down, volume all the way up

TONEX:

These captures were created using the ‘V2’ capture process, which was introduced with Tonex Ver. 1.10. This means that these captures represent the highest possible level of accuracy, and are phase aligned with all other ‘V2’ captures.

QUAD/NANO CORTEX – HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?

When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).

This is how we will send you the captures:

1. Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (SignalTheory) will follow you on the app.
2. Follow ‘SignalTheory’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
3. After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
4. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.
