This pack includes captures of a Suhr Riot Reloaded

The Riot was originally designed to deliver amp-like distortion tones, and was loosely based on the Marshall Guv’nor (which was itself designed to sound like a JCM800). The ‘Reloaded’ version of the Riot was re-designed to have more gain on tap. We find the Riot to be a really versatile pedal. It does excel at the higher gain side of things, but if you bring it down, we love the mid-gain tones you can get from it as well. Turn it up, and you get huge thick pushed Marshall type sounds from any amp.

Includes 24 captures of the pedal throughout its gain range, including ‘bright’ and ‘warm’ captures at each gain stage and on each setting of the Voice toggle.

Captures Naming Guide:

• Numbers indicate the level of gain. Lower numbers = lower gain, and higher numbers = higher gain. NOTE: a ‘1’ capture on a low-gain pedal will have inherently lower gain than a ‘1’ capture on a high gain pedal.
• B = Bright (the EQ on the pedal has been set to sound brighter – in these settings the ‘bass cut’ switch is turned on)
• W = Warm (the EQ on the pedal has been set to sound warmer – in these settings the ‘bass cut’ switch is turn off)
• L = Voice toggle to the left
• M = Voice toggle to the middle
• R = Voice toggle to the right

TONEX:

These captures were created using the ‘V2’ capture process, which was introduced with Tonex Ver. 1.10. This means that these captures represent the highest possible level of accuracy, and are phase aligned with all other ‘V2’ captures.

QUAD/NANO CORTEX – HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?

When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).

This is how we will send you the captures:

1. Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (SignalTheory) will follow you on the app.
2. Follow ‘SignalTheory’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
3. After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
4. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.
