15 PROXY AMP CLONES OF 3 LEGENDARY AMPS
This download includes 15 Proxy Amp+Cab clones made from three of our favorite amplifiers:
- 1963 FNDR B-Man
- 1994 Matchless C-30
- Marshall Super 100
For each amp, you get a curated collection of our favorite settings. Also included are 2 preset templates and 50+ ‘Favorites’ files: dialed in settings of our favorite effects in the Line 6 HX units.
PRESETS INFO
A TEMPLATE: The ‘A’’ template features two amp clones blocks set up in a stereo pair with all the wet effects feeding into the amps. Think of it like running a large stereo pedalboard into two amplifiers set on the ‘edge of breakup’.
B TEMPLATE: In the ‘B’ template, the modulation, delay, and reverb effects are placed after the single (mono) amplifier block. This replicates a studio setting where all the modulation, delay, and reverb effects are applied after the amplifier.
SNAPSHOTS/SCENES
Our presets include Snapshots for instant access to a wide variety of tones, including clean sounds, ambient tones, driven, lead, and high gain sounds, and modulated tones.
PROXY CLONES (amp captures)
We have delivered the following amp+cab clones:

- 3 captures of the Normal channel from clean to driven
- 2 captures of the Bass channel (warmer, fatter)
- All captures through the matching 2×12 Piggyback cab
- 94 Match C30
- 2 captures of the 12ax7 channel – clean to edge of breakup
- 2 captures of the EF86 channel – edge of breakup to driven
- 1 capture with the channels jumped, set to mid gain
- All captures through a Matchless 2×12 cab with mis-matched G12H and G12M speakers
- Mars Super100 JH
- 2 captures of the Bright channel – clean to edge of breakup
- 1 capture of the Normal channel – warm clean
- 2 captures of the channels jumped – edge of breakup to driven
- All captures through a Marshall 1982B JH 4×12 cab

It’s generally cool – but I’m still figuring out how to configure my preset to suit my needs. Since English isn’t my native language, working with the documentation is a challenge. But I’m (still) optimistic. The proxy feature is really cool!

This are my three favorite captures of all the proxy amp collection. I generally play “EG2” or Rythm guitar and find that the Mars100 and 30Matchless combine really well for a nice full sound that leaves room for some high end from our “EG1” lead guitarist – while i still occasionally play some lead/ melodies and it’s a great combo. The B-Man is one that I like to fit in there too but I have found I need to set aside time to dial it in because there are so many options to choose from it’s harder to find “the old sound” I wanted from what I was using in the old bassman but all the options I’m sure will make it way more versatile moving forward. Thanks guys!!!
