This pack includes captures of an Analogman King of Tone

The King of Tone is one of the most highly coveted (and hard to get) drive pedals of all time. Designed as a derivative of a Bluesbreaker circuit, the KOT has its own voice, and can be ordered with many options. Ours includes both the Yellow (low gain) and Red (high gain) options. It is capable of subtle boost and driven tones all the way to huge gain sounds. While this pedal has been copied many times over, there is simply no substitute for the real thing.

Includes 18 captures of the pedal throughout its gain range, including ‘bright’ and ‘warm’ captures at each gain stage. You get captures of both the Yellow and Red sides, as well as both sides stacked together.

Captures Naming Guide:

• Numbers indicate the level of gain. Lower numbers = lower gain, and higher numbers = higher gain. NOTE: a ‘1’ capture on a low-gain pedal will have inherently lower gain than a ‘1’ capture on a high gain pedal.
• B = Bright (the EQ on the pedal has been set to sound brighter)
• W = Warm (the EQ on the pedal has been set to sound warmer)
• Y = Yellow side (lower gain)
• R = Red side (higher gain)
• STACK = both sides on

TONEX:

These captures were created using the ‘V2’ capture process, which was introduced with Tonex Ver. 1.10. This means that these captures represent the highest possible level of accuracy, and are phase aligned with all other ‘V2’ captures.

QUAD/NANO CORTEX – HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?

When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).

This is how we will send you the captures:

1. Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (SignalTheory) will follow you on the app.
2. Follow ‘SignalTheory’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
3. After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
4. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.
