Description
TONE MATCH PRESETS, CAPTURES, AND PROFILES
The Divded by 13 FTR 37 is a boutique dual channel amp designed to give you lush American (Fender) and British (Marshall) tones. It sounds equally amazing clean or driven, with the option to jump the channels to blend them together.
LINE 6 STADIUM (PROXY)
For Stadium and Stadium XL, we’ve cloned the amp using Proxy. The Stadium downloads include both presets and a full set of Proxy clones.
TONE MATCH PATCHES (Applies to Line 6 HX and Fractal presets)
These are part of our ‘Tone Match’ line of patches. To create these patches, we make custom IR’s that ‘match’ the HX and Fractal amp models to our real-world amp. The result is the Line 6 and Fractal units sound almost exactly like our actual amplifiers.
The ‘Gen2’ indicates a new process we’ve used when Tone Matching our amplifiers that takes more of the amplifier’s cab and speaker into account, resulting in a more accurate tone match impulse response.
PRESETS INFO
(Applies to Line 6 HX, Fractal, Quad Cortex units)
The pack includes 2 sets of presets (each with SC and HB options). The presets are labeled ‘A’ and ‘B’, and feature different approaches to signal chain and amp channels.
‘A PRESETS: The ‘A’’ presets feature two amp blocks set up in a stereo pair with all the wet effects feeding into the amps. Think of it like running a large stereo pedalboard into two amplifiers set on the ‘edge of breakup’.
‘B’ PRESETS: In the ‘B’ presets, the modulation, delay, and reverb effects are placed after the single (mono) amplifier block. This replicates a studio setting where all the modulation, delay, and reverb effects are applied after the amplifier.
SNAPSHOTS/SCENES
Our presets include Snapshots for instant access to a wide variety of tones, including clean sounds, ambient tones, driven, lead, and high gain sounds, and modulated tones.
NOTES:
- The HX Stomp, POD Go, and FM3 folders include ‘FX” presets. These presets include the additional effects blocks from the full Helix/Axe-FX versions. Because these units have signal flow and DSP limitations, they are not as fully featured as the flagship units.
- Fractal AM4 presets include a block library download that gives you access to many of our favorite effects already dialed in.
- POD GO & AM4 Users: Because POD Go cannot utilize two amp blocks in a single preset, we’ve delivered one set of presets.
- The HX Stomp presets do not include Snapshots/Scenes.
CAPTURES & PROFILES
(Applies to Line 6 Stadium, TONEX, Quad/Nano Cortex, Kemper)
The captures increase through the entire gain range of the amp. We’ve delivered 44 total captures, including three speaker options as well as direct captures.
The captures are numbered, and the number corresponds to the level of gain in the tone model. Lower numbers equal lower gain, and higher numbers equal higher gain. Typically a ‘2’ or ‘3’ is the ‘edge of breakup’, and is the perfect option to use with pedals.
TONEX and Quad Cortex are both using the ‘V2’ capture process/technology
Capture Labels:
- Ch1 = Channel 1 (Marshall voice)
- Ch2 = Channel 2 (Fender Voice)
- Jmp = Blended channels
- G12H = G12H30 Speaker option
- GB = Greenback Speaker option
- JG = Celestion Gold speaker option
- DI = Direct (no cab)
- Lo = Lo input
QUAD/NANO CORTEX V2 Captures & Presets – HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?
When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).
This is how we will send you the captures:
- Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (SignalTheory) will follow you on the app.
- Follow ‘SignalTheory’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
- After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
- Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.
THE CAB OPTIONS
With this amp, we wanted to offer you the experience of playing through various different cabinets, as each cab brings out unique qualities of the amplifier.
- G12H = The G12H30 speaker in the Divided by 13 2×12 cab
- GB = The Greenback speaker in the Divided by 13 2×12 cab
- JG = Jackson Ported 1×12 cab with a Celestion Alnico Gold
CAB DETAILS
- For capture units (Stadium/Proxy, TONEX, Quad Cortex, and Kemper), you’ll get separate captures through each cab, as well as direct captures.
- For modeling units (Line 6 and Fractal), you’ll get separate Tone-Matched IR files which you can swap into the cab block(s) to switch cabs. There are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ cab options – simply audition each cab and pick your favorite (or mix/match them). You do not necessarily need to make any adjustments to the amp block(s) when switching IR cabs.

Used this patch today at church and it was SO good! Sat in the mix really well. And having both channels (American &UK) together in stereo is right on. So many options for gain stages and great separation if running in stereo. Another fantastic release from Signal Theory!!

Just as the last several presets I’ve purchased for my Helix LT, the DIV 37 rocks. I’ve been tinkering with it the last several days so I can get it added to the Sunday rotation. I really enjoy the tones this preset had “out of the box” if you will. I’m trying to figure out a solid amp to pair it. My current setup is the Signal Theory Revv D40 and the Match Cold CNYN, which is a really cool combo of warmth and chime. The DIV37 seems a bit more versatile as it cleans up really nice, but also has plenty of grit for lead tones.

Long time customer – have purchased many Presets for my Line 6 Helix Floor and now my Stadium XL – I have to say this is one of if not the best Presets ever! Have only tweaked for my Hum Buckers and not my Single Coils so far, but this is a Great Sounding preset and Highly recommended! Keep up the good work.

I’m always searching for decent clean tones that have enough body for gospel and enough meat for some heavier worship songs. The DIV37 patch gives me the cleans without being too dry and still has a decent amount of breakup to it.
Works particularly well on the Helix with Variax.

Absolutely love this one! It really shines in the glassy to almost fuzz scenes! My new #1!!!

Channel 1 offers a Marshall-style British sound. Channel 2 offers a Fender-style American sound.
To create a clean sound, it’s best to start with a crunch tone, lower the gain, and turn down the guitar’s volume for a great sound.
For a pure clean sound, it’s recommended to use it as a pedal platform. It’s also recommended when using a distortion pedal.
Recommended for those who have trouble finding a Fender sound they like.

Love this pack. Beautiful cleans and enough grit for me. Just what I was hoping for

I’ve not played this /13 amp, but the accuracy of the captures to the demos above is spot on. Driven sounds clean up great with volume knob, and the feel under the fingers is expressive and natural. Takes drive pedals terrific. Well done, gents.

Great captures, both channels are super musical, from crisp cleans to Marshally grit! Great work as usual.

Sounds just like the amp! 👌🏼. Both channels are represented well, my favorite being channel 1. I run it in stereo, one side with the Alnico Gold, and the other side with the Greenback.

This collection of clones works best for me in the cleanish settings with the Greenback speaker. Everyone is different, and I tend to like high frequencies well “tamed.” The Jackson clones sound scooped with a low end thump, and all of the high gain clones have more sizzle than I like. Yet, I especially liked the JMP 3 Greenback clone–my favorite of the /13 FTR 37 collection. The Ch 1 and Ch 2 Gain3 clones were nice as well.
I wish the clones were leveled with each other–some being noticeably louder than others.
All in all, a good set of clones for the /13 FTR 37. I could gig this set for Americana, bright tunes. I liked what it did for my Tele, not so much for my Les Paul.
Get ready to adjust the Clone block’s input & output levels and high cut, too.

This is honestly just an incredible preset straight “out of the box”, but after fiddling with it a bit, I’m surprised how how versatile it can actually be. Definitely going to be a workhorse.
