’64 Prince RI – Tone Match Presets and Captures

TONE MATCH PRESETS, CAPTURES, AND PROFILES OF OUR ’64 PRINCE HAND-WIRED RE-ISSUE

For these presets, we’ve captured and tone-matched a F-style Prince Hand-wired Re-Issue amplifier. The result is a set of presets and captures that sound exactly like our amp, and the microphones, preamps, and EQ chains that we use to record it.

The ’64 Hand-wired Prince Reverb Re-issue is a faithful reproduction of a vintage 1964 amplifier.

We’ve included two separate preset/capture options for you. The ‘J’ presets use the stock Jensen speaker, which is faithful to what would have been used in the ’60’s. These are the speakers most people upgrade to when they swap out a speaker on their run of the mill amps.

We’ve also included a set of presets using a Celestion Alnico Gold speaker in the amp, which warms the amp up, giving it a smoother top end, creamier overdrive break-up, and more chime. We love them both and honestly we couldn’t decide which one to go with, so we just decided to include them both.

We’ve delivered two sets of presets, one for dialed in single coils and one for humbuckers. One set of presets uses an IR made with the stock Jensen speaker, and the other set uses the IR made with the Alnico Gold speaker.

Note: Lower DSP units (like HX Stomp, POD Go, and FM3) are not able to have as many effects as the flagship units. For these units, we have delivered additional ‘FX’ presets that contain the extra effects that cannot fit in the main presets.

We have included Snapshots/Scenes for each individual unit, giving you access to different types of tones at the press of a single button.

CAPTURES/PROFILES

The profiles increase through the entire gain range of the amp for all for both the stock Jensen speaker and a 10″ Alnico Gold speaker. Higher numbers = more gain. This pack includes profiles dialed for single coils and humbuckers at each gain stage, for a total of 15 profiles.
